About the Role
We are seeking a commercially astute finance leader to manage the financial strategy for our Germany and AMEA Expansion Markets, establishing the groundwork for European expansion. You will be the primary source for performance insights, forecasting, and financial decision-making, translating financial data into actionable strategies. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional leaders to guide financial direction and ensure efficient business operations and wise investments. It is a high-trust, high-impact position with significant responsibility and a fast-paced environment, offering a clear path to broader European leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the financial model for the Germany and AMEA Expansion Market, including revenue, CAC, LTV, margin, and free cash flow.
- Lead the financial planning process, including monthly re-forecasting, annual planning, and scenario modeling.
- Partner with growth and operations teams to set targets, assess performance, and guide spend allocation for maximum ROI.
- Conduct commercial analysis on pricing, retention, margin, and expansion to identify opportunities and recommend trade-offs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for key German performance metrics to ensure business alignment.
- Collaborate with Group Finance on financial operations, including reconciliations, cost allocation, and month-end closes.
- Design scalable financial systems and insights that can serve as a blueprint for future market expansions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or banking, preferably in high-growth or tech-enabled businesses.
- Proven experience owning P&L and end-to-end planning processes, ideally in a complex consumer and operational business.
- Deep understanding of CAC, LTV, payback, and cash flow dynamics.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to guide trade-off decisions.
- Ability to move fast and act decisively, even with incomplete information.
- Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex problems.
- Commitment to owning outcomes and driving performance through insights.
- Calmness under pressure and confidence in ambiguous situations.
