About the Role

Our client is an internationally active IT service provider that supports large enterprise and public sector organizations in modernizing and securing their IT, infrastructure, and production environments. The Cybersecurity division is growing and expanding its consulting expertise in the OT and IoT environment. We are looking for a Senior Consultant OT / IoT Security (m/f/d) to further expand this area.

Responsibilities

• Consulting clients on cybersecurity projects in production, OT, and IoT environments.
• Identifying, analyzing, planning, designing, and implementing measures to defend against cyber threats.
• Conducting OT and IoT assessments and penetration tests for production environments and IoT devices.
• Developing cybersecurity strategies considering modern technologies and trends.
• Consulting on topics such as Smart Factory, Zero Trust, 5G, Security by Design, and IT/OT Convergence.
• Describing and implementing security processes and architectures with a focus on IT, OT, and IoT.
• Supporting project and team leadership tasks and presenting work results to clients.
• Contributing to the further development of cybersecurity consulting services.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable degree program.
• Several years of professional experience in IT/OT Security or IT/OT Security Management.
• Experience in a consulting firm or an industrial company.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, particularly ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443.
• Experience with security processes, security architectures, and security-relevant technologies.
• Knowledge in Security Monitoring, Backup & Restore, or Vulnerability Management.
• Fluent German (C1 level) and good English language skills.
• High customer orientation, self-responsibility, results orientation, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Smart Factory, Machine Learning, AI, 5G, or IT/OT Convergence.
• Experience in project or team leadership in a client environment.
• Experience in the further development of consulting services.
• Understanding of industrial processes, production environments, and technical security architectures.
