About the Role
We are looking for a Nutrition Specialist to help translate nutrition science into understandable insights, guiding global decisions across innovation, public, and regulatory affairs. This role involves critically reviewing evidence, responding to government consultations, building external relationships, and supporting internal learning to position Oatly as a trusted, science-based voice.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate nutrition science into clear, actionable insights supporting business decisions.
- Review studies, build dossiers, and analyze complex nutrition topics.
- Respond to government consultations on dietary guidelines, labelling, trade standards, fortification, and public procurement.
- Build trusted relationships with external stakeholders and represent Oatly in relevant working groups.
- Present at scientific, governmental, and industry events.
- Lead projects to strengthen Oatly's position in a healthy, sustainable food system.
- Support internal learning on nutrition to ensure responsible communication.
- Position Oatly as a trusted, science-based voice in nutrition and sustainable food systems.
Requirements
- BSc in Nutrition or Dietetics (non-negotiable)
- Ideally an MSc in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health or similar or equivalent experience
- Approximately 8+ years of experience in nutrition/public health advocacy, preferably within corporate affairs
- Strong experience translating complex science for non-experts
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Passionate about improving human and planetary health
- Naturally curious and analytical
- Ability to provide constructive criticism
- Confident in sharing perspectives while remaining open to learning
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to build trust across teams, functions, and cultures
- Desire to make a real impact in nutrition and sustainability
- Clear, warm, and personable communication style
