This is a varied, hands-on leadership role blending technical oversight with people management across two vibrant Redfern student communities. You'll report to the Community Manager and work closely with regional operations, contractors, and the wider property team. • Champion WHS across both sites, providing a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained living environment, keeping communities safe for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Provide ad hoc out-of-hours support for genuine emergencies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management - student accommodation, residential, hospitality, or similar customer facing environments.
  • Strong WHS knowledge, statutory compliance, and preventative maintenance experience.
  • CapEx and budget management skills with a cost-conscious, outcomes-focused approach.
  • Experience supervising contractors and working with teams to maintain high-quality, compliant residential buildings.
  • Confident people leader who brings out the best in a team.
