About the Role
As an HR Specialist, you will provide end-to-end operational HR services and support HR systems and programs to enhance service delivery for the business and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll submissions according to regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Serve as the key user for payroll, leave, and related Workday portals/modules.
- Support the recruitment process, including Workday job postings, work pass applications, and onboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure new hire documentation is complete.
- Maintain and update employee data in HRIS accurately for hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Manage employee documents and records in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
- Conduct HR inductions for new hires.
- Act as the point of contact for HR data management and the key user for HRIS (Workday, Times Software).
- Ensure data accuracy in Workday, the HR system of record.
- Support HR audits and ensure HR practices align with company governance and compliance guidelines.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly HR analytics/reports for business and finance.
- Support compensation analytics as applicable.
- Review and update the Employee Handbook and HR policies and procedures.
- Support sales incentive payout reporting and sales plan assignment maintenance.
- Administer training programs.
- Stay updated on changes in local employment legislation.
- Participate in ad hoc HR/Payroll projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of HR Operations experience, preferably in an MNC environment.
- Working knowledge of broad-based HR disciplines including payroll & compensation practices, recruitment, training administration, diversity, and labor laws.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Initiative to identify and anticipate employee or business needs and make recommendations.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
