About the Role

GSAM Multi Product Funds Group (MPFG) oversees Fund of Funds trading, foreign exchange transactions, and cash management, partnering closely with Portfolio Managers, execution desks, and various other teams. This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in fund trading, FX execution, product development, and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Fund of Funds trades across domestic and offshore fund structures.
• Execute foreign exchange transactions and JPY hedging strategies.
• Manage intra-fund liquidity through short-term money market instruments, including call loan.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to design and implement solutions that enhance execution capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional business teams on new fund launches and strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

• Good communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external brokers.
• Ability to understand and apply complex global regulatory frameworks and internal guidelines to MPFG transactions.
• Commitment to a minimum tenure of 3.5 years within the team.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy.
• Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
