About the Role

Anaplan Japan is seeking a Regional Vice President for the FSI team. This role involves leading Enterprise Account Executives to expand Anaplan's footprint, build new relationships, secure market share, elevate customer satisfaction, and foster loyalty. The objective is to drive net ARR growth through new bookings, expansions, upsells, and renewals while maintaining customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and manage the activities of the Enterprise Account Executives in FSI team within assigned region to ensure that company revenue goals and objectives are exceeded
  • Develop and execute on a business plan to expand business into new accounts throughout a given region
  • Juggle the closing of current-quarter deals while nurturing longer-term opportunities
  • Coordinating and managing weekly and monthly one-on-one and team pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best-practice sharing
  • Managing daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Attracting, hiring, onboarding and retaining top sales talent; managing attrition
  • Display a thorough understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region

Requirements

  • Native Level Japanese, Business Level English language is must
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading or driving Enterprise software sales for Applications in Japan
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and empower employees within a team-oriented approach
  • Track record of successfully leading a software company into new territories
  • Proficiency in demonstrating SaaS/cloud-based software and discussing it with business leaders
  • Expertise in teaching, coaching, and training sales methodologies
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed throughout the region
