About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for project activities to ensure successful delivery. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of experts to safely deliver vital train control solutions within established processes. You will develop project plans and schedules, drive teams to meet commitments on time and within budget, secure resources, and prepare status reports for management and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage projects in accordance with contractual requirements and company processes.
  • Manage overall project performance, schedule compliance, cash flow, and budget.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Strategically manage client expectations within company business objectives.
  • Evaluate the need for out-of-scope work for strategic project gains.
  • Enforce policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized work.
  • Evaluate and report on project "Estimates to Complete" to provide clarity on cost exposures and future labor needs.
  • Review and input into the project Risk List to provide visibility on business exposure.
  • Make decisions on expenditures for mitigation to benefit the company and project.
  • Provide vision and direction to foster a single path for the project team.
  • Create an environment where the project team is motivated and focused on the objective.
  • Display strong communication skills with senior management, clients, and the project team.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in a related industry or from a technical/aerospace field.
  • 10 years of experience as a project manager.
  • University degree in Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, or Informatics) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) railway signaling systems.
  • Demonstrated experience handling high-complexity projects in challenging contexts, including multicultural and international settings, with a focus on multi-disciplinary technical aspects.
  • Proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple, international remote teams effectively.
  • Self-disciplined, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with a strong commitment to achieving targets and a rigorous work ethic.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment.
  • Fluent in English, capable of working effectively in international and multicultural environments.

Salary/Compensations

  • $115,976 - $148,923
