About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team within the Platform function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will ensure that Avaloq and other platform release deliveries meet business quality standards for production readiness.
Responsibilities
- Participate in definition and design phases to contribute to overall solutions.
- Create test plans and test cases for application and business process testing.
- Trace test cases to design and requirement documentation.
- Collaborate with business SMEs and management to secure sign-off on test approaches.
- Execute test plans and cases while capturing results and evidence.
- Assist the Platform team in identifying issues for failed or conditionally passed tests.
- Maintain stability of the UAT test environment and counterparty connections.
- Implement process improvements to the LGT Crestone test framework using DevOps principles.
- Manage standardised test data in collaboration with the Lead Quality Engineer.
- Work across Avaloq, data integration systems, and APIs.
Requirements
- Financial services industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience testing products and processes within financial services or validating financial services product rollouts.
- Experience working within technology teams.
- Experience with test case tracking in JIRA and knowledge sharing in Confluence.
- Exposure to traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail with a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
