About the Role

We are looking for an engaged Event Manager to join our team in Berlin, who already has experience in a comparable position.

Responsibilities

• Leading exciting projects (concept, planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up) in the field of events.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration at eye level with other agency colleagues from other disciplines, trades, and partners.
• Leading creative brainstormings.
• Independent creation of holistic event and communication concepts, e.g., creative show and artist concepts, often incorporating digital mechanisms, social media, etc.
• Research and negotiations with service providers, partners, locations, artists, exhibition stand builders, and hotels.
• Holistic and independent consulting and support of demanding premium clients.
• Expansion of existing customers.
• Creation and processing of detailed cost plans, invoices, and offers.
• Creation and management of detailed cost plans as well as process and direction instructions.
• Optimization of internal work processes and workflows with external partners.
• Leadership and further development of employees.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a project manager at an event agency or on the client side.
• Completed vocational training or comparable degree in event management/marketing.
• Sound knowledge in creating and presenting concepts.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of Office 365, especially MS Teams and MS Planner.
• Profound knowledge of the event industry, the MICE business, and closely related industries or specialist areas.
• Great interest in current media, event, show, and staging trends.
• Organizational talent with a high quality awareness and a solution-oriented approach.
• Commercial responsibility and analytical thinking.
• Confident, reliable demeanor and strong social skills.
• Very good English language skills, further foreign language skills are an advantage.
