About the Role

The Disability Support Worker role at CPA exists to provide high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to live as independently as possible, by helping them to achieve their goals and supporting their day-to-day wellbeing, dignity and quality of life. This role is focused on providing support to clients in a domestic setting (in the home).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients with daily living needs such as cooking and mealtimes
  • Helping with cleaning & general household tasks
  • Providing personal care to clients in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting clients to move around the house through manual handling and the use of specialised equipment such as hoists
  • Documenting and monitoring client wellbeing
  • Collaborating effectively with other CPA staff to maintain a supportive team environment

Requirements

  • Commitment to person-centred care
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P2)
  • Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • First Aid & CPR

  • Attractive hourly rate from $34.59 + Super + Penalty Rates
