About the Role
The Account Manager will work alongside the NAV Operations Manager to oversee a team of investment analysts who produce valuations and unit prices for clients. This includes reviewing data entry, managing staff development, and internal team relationships. The role also involves maintaining client relationships, coordinating regulatory reporting, audit preparation, marketing for new business, and handling take-on and due diligence requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate NAV calculation for a portfolio of funds on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, along with other client-specific reporting requirements.
- Provide accurate unit prices in accordance with client SLAs.
- Oversee data entry to ensure complete investment transaction capture and reconciliation.
- Liaise with Auditors, conduct ongoing review and update of team internal controls.
- Contribute to business development by liaising with senior management, ensuring full communication from bottom up, and implementing new processes and controls.
- Manage client relationships, attend meetings, and maintain regular client contact.
- Ensure client inquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards.
- Develop process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund specifications.
Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions.
- Ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Macros in Excel.
- Good working knowledge/experience using HiPortfolio or Paxus preferred.
