About the Role

Trend Micro, a global cybersecurity leader founded in Japan over 35 years ago, aims to create a world where digital information can be exchanged securely. This role supports the implementation and operation of next-generation security platforms optimized for sovereign/private cloud environments. You will act as a partner, deeply involved from advisory to hands-on support, to ensure business continuity and manage risks for clients in critical environments like on-premises, private cloud, and air-gapped systems.

Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships and understand challenges through regular communication to build long-term partnerships.
Analyze security challenges specific to critical environments and provide tailored solutions.
Support the implementation and operation of security platforms in diverse environments including on-premises, private cloud, and air-gapped systems.
Perform on-site configuration, construction, and operational improvements.
Manage upgrades, configuration changes, and operational optimizations.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues across multiple layers, including infrastructure (IaaS/virtualization/network), container/orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift), and the security platform itself.
Provide security training and workshops for operational staff.
Support the advancement of incident response processes.

Requirements

Practical experience in security, cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure.
Customer negotiation experience.
Knowledge of container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Ability to conduct business in Japanese, including high-level reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to gather information in English and handle email and meetings in English.
