About the Role

S&P Global Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) is seeking a Quantitative Risk Consultant to join its Quantitative Modelling team. This role supports the Financial Risk Analytics library, which includes Risk Factor Simulation Models, a cross-asset pricing library, and XVA, Credit, Market, and Regulatory Risk Measures.

Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance the Financial Risk Analytics library.
  • Contribute to software implementation for client projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients in English and Japanese.
  • Test, validate, and maintain methodologies for risk measurement and analysis.
  • Analyze regulatory updates and assess their impact on the library.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.
  • Well-versed in financial derivatives and current industry trends.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in financial derivatives and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • English and Japanese communication ability.
