About the Role

This is a dynamic, dual-focused role where you can combine people support with sales, relationship building and administration, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day by supporting participants to become job-ready, marketing candidates to employers, and building strong relationships with local businesses to create sustainable employment pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with participants to understand their employment goals and position them for success.
  • Coach participants to be job-ready, competitive, and interview confident.
  • Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation, job search strategies and facilitate access to training and upskilling opportunities.
  • Drive employment outcomes by actively advocating on behalf of participants to employers and securing job placements.
  • Generate new employment opportunities through cold calls, employer visits, and face-to-face engagement with employers.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of employers to consistently convert opportunities into placements.
  • Identify and capitalise on hidden job opportunities through proactive business development.
  • Pitch candidates confidently, positioning their skills to meet employer needs.
  • Influence hiring decisions by promoting the commercial and social value of inclusive recruitment.
  • Negotiate job trials, work experience placements, and wage subsidies to secure employment outcomes.
  • Maintain and grow employer relationships to drive repeat business and ongoing vacancies.
  • Achieve and exceed KPI targets across placements, engagement, and activity levels.
  • Conduct regular appointments and track participant progress toward employment outcomes.
  • Manage compliance, documentation, and data entry in line with program requirements.
  • Track performance against KPIs and achieve employment outcome targets.
  • Celebrate milestones and successful placements to build participant confidence and engagement.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • A MyGovID (Standard level).
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check.
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
