About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule available resources and materials for calibrations, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities efficiently.
- Review and approve/disapprove incoming work requests.
- Develop and report work backlog reports.
- Develop detailed work scope and setup forecasts for resource allocation to ensure maintenance activities align with manufacturing operations.
- Oversee work order activity compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, OSHA).
- Manage work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Review Field Service reports to identify follow-up work requirements and integrate them into work orders.
- Optimize calibration and preventive maintenance plans.
- Improve productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and access.
- Compile and maintain the Master Schedule to establish sequence and lead time for operations based on production forecasts or machine-specific needs.
- Coordinate accurately among laboratory/manufacturing operations, field service engineers, service providers/subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Plan, execute, and provide purchase requisitions and orders for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner, meeting quality standards.
- Initiate Incident Notifications for Out of Tolerance calibrations as per client procedures.
- Create Equipment Records in the CMMS for new equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical).
- In lieu of a degree, 2-year college technical school with 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience in a laboratory/manufacturing maintenance environment is highly preferred.
