About the Role
This is a key support role in a small team with great results, and you will play an important part in keeping the Brisbane office running smoothly. This role is offered on a part-time basis 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration support to the Queensland team, including reception, mail and guest services, welcoming Fellows, Trainees, staff and visitors
- Maintain the Brisbane office, working with the Facilities Coordinator to achieve efficient results
- Develop the state newsletter, maintain website content and manage emails
- Ensure all invoicing is completed accurately and on time
- Assist the Events Engagement Officer with meetings, conferences and seminars, including room bookings, catering and audio-visual support
- Support the Examinations team with the delivery of exams held in the office
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong administration skills
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Intermediate MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within required time frames
- Clear, confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills, relating well to people at all levels
- A hands-on, positive, can-do attitude
- Some after-hours work will be required, to be arranged in advance with your manager
