About the Role
As a Reporting Analyst within the Collection Services division, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality reporting, dashboard development, and business intelligence solutions to support operational and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards, optimizing data models, and providing analytical insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that provide meaningful insights across operational, client, and portfolio performance metrics.
- Migrate and optimize legacy reporting processes, reducing manual spreadsheet-based reporting.
- Develop and maintain semantic data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
- Support the creation of a consistent and reliable reporting environment through robust data modelling and governance practices.
- Deliver deep-dive analysis, segmentation reviews, and performance diagnostics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Produce operational and client insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Work closely with Portfolio Analysts and SQL Developers to maintain data quality, consistency, and reporting standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reporting, business intelligence, database analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills with proven experience extracting, manipulating, and modelling data.
- Advanced Power BI capability, including dashboard development, DAX, and Power Query.
- Experience building and optimizing semantic data models and reporting frameworks.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and business intelligence architecture.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data mining, segmentation analysis, and performance reporting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
