About the Role
As an Industrialisation Engineer, you will support industrialisation activities for Digital & Integrated Systems projects, acting as the liaison between design and procurement. You will collaborate with engineers, manage material data, and ensure accuracy before sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Support industrial readiness and design-for-quality activities
- Maintain Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities, and industrial data in systems
- Update material demand and ensure data accuracy and traceability
- Assist with KPI reporting
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and waste reduction
- Support implementation of cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams
- Support coordination to ensure alignment between design and procurement
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship or unrestricted permanent work rights in Australia are required
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and work closely with engineers
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a team environment
- Pre-employment reference and medical checks, including drug and alcohol testing, are required
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
- Confidence working with data and documentation
- Solid IT skills, particularly in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Word
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto) is advantageous but not essential
