About the Role

The Lazy CEO podcast is entering a new stage of growth, focusing on YouTube with a video-first approach. This role will own the entire podcast production lifecycle, from guest relations to final video editing and social media distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own guest outreach, scheduling, and pre-recording communication, maintaining a 4-week ahead guest pipeline.
• Brief guests, manage on-site recording logistics, and produce live recording sessions.
• Shoot and produce full-length podcast episodes as YouTube-ready, long-form video.
• Edit full-length video episodes and audio mixes from raw recordings to final polished cuts.
• Drive the content calendar with themes, angles, and segment ideas.
• Review all podcast content for quality, pacing, and brand alignment.
• Brief, review, and sign off short-form social edits with the offshore editor.
• Manually post and manage social media accounts 5 days per week, replacing the agency model.
• Cross-post episodes and clips to Instagram and TikTok.

Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing video-first podcast production and understanding of YouTube long-form content performance.
• 3+ years of proven experience producing a podcast, preferably in business, entrepreneurship, or media.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Audition).
• Strong sound design, mixing, and color correction skills.
• Existing relationships in the Australian media and podcast landscape.
• A self-starter who takes ownership and can manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
