About the Role
As a member of our Core Cloud Networking team, you’ll build solutions to enhance secure, scalable, and cost-effective networking. You’ll explore new technologies, implement proof of concepts, and be involved in key production projects. You’ll design, build, and support solutions for the public cloud to solve challenging technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Build solutions to enhance secure, scalable, and cost-effective networking solutions.
- Manage north-south and east-west traffic flow rules.
- Explore and decide on new technologies.
- Implement proof of concepts.
- Be involved in key production projects.
- Design, build, and support solutions for the public cloud.
- Solve a variety of challenging technical problems.
- Exercise ownership, be communicative and predictable in interactions.
- Care about each other, assume positive intent, help each other, have fun and experiment.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience developing services in Python
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as CloudFormation and Terraform
- Experience building, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS using VPC, EC2 compute
- Familiarity with modern web application delivery and architecture
- Understanding of L3-L7 level network layers
- Knowledge of IP, DNS, VPC peering and subnet management
