About the Role
HUB International is seeking a Commercial Account Assistant to support the Surety Practice in downtown Toronto on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for an individual who is responsive, can handle a high volume of work, and possesses strong customer service skills, with an interest in supporting a growing niche market.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing surety bond documentation across Canada
- Answering client queries and communicating with insurance companies
- Uploading documentation to various systems and setting up electronic client files in Epic
- Maintaining an effective abeyance system
- Assisting and supporting Account Managers and responding to client inquiries
- Helping where required and performing all other duties as assigned by Account Team
Requirements
- Typically, 2 + years of administrative support experience required
- RIBO Licensed an asset
- Surety knowledge or experience as an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook, and other technologies i.e. Adobe
- Strong organizational, time, and client management skills
- Detail-Oriented with strong initiative and follow-up skills
- Effective communication skills: verbal and written
- Strong team player
- Proactive and customer-focused approach
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
