About the Role
Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking an Expeditor/Food Runner who is fast-paced, team-oriented, and brings positive energy to every shift. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate food delivery while maintaining high presentation standards and contributing to an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food to guests.
- Confirm every dish meets presentation and preparation standards before it leaves the kitchen.
- Review orders for special instructions, dietary needs, and modifications.
- Communicate guest feedback, concerns, or additional requests to servers and managers.
- Greet guests warmly and contribute to an outstanding dining experience.
- Support the front-of-house and back-of-house teams by staying proactive and engaged.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
- Assist with additional duties to help the team and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Ability to carry multiple plates, trays, and beverages safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of your shift.
- A positive attitude and commitment to being a reliable team member.
