About the Role

The Trade Marketing Manager will drive category growth and brand performance by supporting the indirect sales team across key retail touchpoints. This role involves planning and executing trade marketing initiatives, including in-store fixtures, POS materials, visual merchandising, and retail activation programs to enhance brand visibility, shopper experience, and sales conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual trade marketing plans tailored to market and retail partner needs, aligning with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Support the indirect sales team with tailored toolkits and promotional plans.
  • Implement effective in-store trade campaigns with indirect retailers, optimizing the shopper journey.
  • Manage launches and campaign activations, ensuring offline channel content drives traffic and conversion.
  • Own asset development and delivery for NPD launches, campaigns, and promotional activities, ensuring brand guideline adherence.
  • Design and deploy physical retail activations including fixtures, POS materials, in-store displays, and merchandising solutions.
  • Project manage the end-to-end delivery of in-store solutions, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Own Visual Merchandising guidance for tactical in-store displays, collaborating with the field team for execution standards.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to align online and offline shopper experiences for integrated campaigns.
  • Lead the deployment and maintenance of branded fixtures, POP materials, and in-store displays, monitoring execution and analyzing performance.
  • Manage production suppliers and agency partners, driving quality, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Own fixture asset management across the retail network, maintaining inventory and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain planograms in line with NPD launches, product range updates, and category priorities.
  • Adapt and localize global retail fixture and merchandising guidelines to meet market-specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with indirect retailers and external agencies.
  • Act as project lead in campaign development and execution, engaging stakeholders and managing approvals.
  • Develop strong partnerships with account managers and field teams to share information and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, commercial, and supply chain teams for integrated campaign execution.
  • Manage assigned trade marketing budgets, ensuring ROI and alignment with business goals.
  • Manage project budgets, forecast accurately, and own monthly reconciliations.
  • Analyze market and channel data to measure campaign effectiveness and prepare reports with insights.
  • Set up clear KPIs to measure activation performance and validate/improve campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strong Project Management skills with time and cost management.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on finding new approaches and solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Punctual and accurate when working under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in managing retail/shopper marketing solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end retail projects, from concept development to execution.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale retail rollouts across 3rd party channel store networks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of retail fixtures, materials, manufacturing process, POS, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is desirable.
