About the Role
To functionally manage Hudbay's HR Information Systems, ensuring architectural integrity, governance, and strategic roadmap delivery to support long-term growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the architectural integrity of HR systems, aligning design decisions with global business requirements and technical scalability.
- Oversee the HRIS governance framework, prioritizing system changes based on business value and executing within corporate risk parameters.
- Define and execute the multi-year HRIS roadmap in collaboration with Business Unit HR and operational leaders.
- Implement and enforce processes for maintaining accurate system documentation and training collateral.
- Facilitate the end-to-end execution of annual HR/OE processes within SuccessFactors, including performance reviews and compensation cycles.
- Provide a library of shared reports and technical support for system users.
- Strategically manage third-party partners to ensure service delivery meets SLAs and maximizes ROI for HR technology investments.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in HR Technology or HR Transformation roles.
- 3–5 years specifically focused on the SuccessFactors suite.
- SAP SuccessFactors certifications are highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SuccessFactors deployments or major module expansions.
- Experience working in a multi-national or multi-business unit environment.
- Significant experience in process mapping and translating HR requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience working closely with IT departments to align HRIS roadmaps with corporate digital strategies.
- Experience navigating the complexities of connecting SuccessFactors to payroll engines (SAP ECC, ECP, or S/4).
Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the SuccessFactors Ecosystem and module integration.
- Deep knowledge of HRIS architecture, system design principles, and data flow.
- Strong grasp of HR best practices and 'Leading Practice' workflows.
- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM or similar change management protocols.
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall project delivery methods.
- Ability to influence Business Unit leaders and manage strategic stakeholders.
- Skill in managing third-party implementation partners and vendor contracts.
- Ability to create phased, multi-year capital expenditure plans from organizational needs.
- Consultative problem-solving skills to bridge HR and IT/Vendors.
- Professional-level fluency in Spanish is an advantage.

- CAD $128,000 - $160,000 per year
