About the Role
The Simulation Learning Center Operations Manager provides comprehensive technical and operational support for the School of Health Sciences clinical simulation suites and skills labs. This role ensures the day-to-day readiness of healthcare training environments by maintaining simulation equipment, manikins, and computer hardware/software. The manager facilitates the set-up, management, and organization of supplies, technology, and support for faculty and student learning in the simulation center.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive technical and operational support for clinical simulation suites and skills labs.
- Ensures day-to-day readiness of healthcare training environments.
- Maintains functionality and optimization of all simulation equipment, manikins, and computer hardware/software.
- Facilitates the set-up, management, and organization of supplies, technology, and support for faculty/student teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in healthcare, biomedical technology, computer science, or a related field.
- One to two years of related experience in healthcare simulation-based technology or an allied health profession.
- Proficiency with MS 365, AV systems, and networked computer equipment.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA, FERPA, and ADA guidelines regarding patient health records and student privacy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities across the university.
- Demonstrate a high capacity for receiving and implementing constructive feedback.
- Ability to work successfully both independently and as a supportive member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain a customer-service-oriented attitude, prioritizing student learning needs and safety.
- Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Possess the ability to engage respectfully and skillfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Use diplomacy, discretion, and solid interpersonal skills.
- Communicate clearly and accurately through various technological resources and in-person demonstrations.

- Use sound judgment and initiative to complete work assignments and interpret policies effectively.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Criminal history background check is required for finalist(s).
