About the Role
This temporary position provides coverage in the Staffing Office at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital, ensuring adequate staffing of Nursing Staff on inpatient psychiatric units. The role involves daily reception duties, including answering phones, responding to the doorbell, and welcoming visitors. It is an essential position requiring constant employee presence.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reception duties such as answering the phone, responding to the main entry doorbell, and welcoming facility visitors.
- Ensure adequate staffing of the Nursing Staff on the inpatient psychiatric units.
- Provide coverage for available shifts due to vacations and other time off for permanent Staffing & Administrative Coordinators.
- Work varying shifts, including Night Shift (6:30pm-7:00am) and Day Shift (6:30am-7:00pm).
Requirements
- Two (2) years or more performing administrative duties in a health care, human services, or government setting.
- Must pass a fingerprint supported background investigation.
- Must undergo Vermont and/or national criminal record checks, DMV checks, and adult and child abuse registry checks as appropriate.
- Must agree to fingerprinting and background check requirements to be deemed eligible.
