About the Role
As the Founding GTM Engineer, you will architect and own the systems and automations responsible for generating pipeline, expanding accounts, and driving growth across the business. This strategic, high-visibility role reports directly to the SVP of CS & Business Operations and offers direct exposure to the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Own the pipeline number and the system that produces it.
- Drive measurable increases in qualified pipeline and account expansion.
- Run a continuous experimentation system with clear hypotheses, rapid launches, and instrumented measurement.
- Identify, test, and scale new acquisition channels, growth motions, and ecosystem opportunities.
- Design and build automation and AI-powered solutions across GTM systems.
- Build and support automated outbound and engagement workflows.
- Leverage AI to enable contextual personalization at scale across GTM motions.
- Drive end-to-end implementation of GTM automation across platforms.
- Develop proofs of concept and early-stage architecture to validate outcomes.
- Map and audit the full prospect-to-customer journey to identify bottlenecks and redundancies.
- Evaluate and evolve the tech stack for tool integration and growth capacity.
- Maintain the infrastructure for a single version of the truth across Marketing, Sales, and Success data.
- Act as the primary requirements leader for the external Salesforce/RevOps administrator.
- Own the performance of GTM automation and AI-powered workflows.
- Use funnel performance and system insights to continuously optimize workflows.
- Define and implement KPIs for GTM experiments and translate learnings into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- A track record of directly owning pipeline or revenue growth outcomes.
- Strong experimentation instincts and ability to make data-informed decisions.
- Ability to visualize data flow through complex GTM systems and identify leaks.
- Hands-on experience designing and building automation workflows across GTM systems.
- Deep familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce/HubSpot) and the surrounding GTM ecosystem.
- AI-native fluency with demonstrable impact from deployed agentic workflows.
- Experience in GTM Operations, RevOps, Sales/Marketing Systems, Growth, or Automation Engineering.
- Proven experience designing and building automation workflows across GTM systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered technologies, agents, or autonomous GTM systems.
- Strong technical fluency, including experience with Salesforce, APIs, integrations, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
