About the Role
This position supports overall participant recruitment and retention with an operational focus, working closely with research coordinators, investigators, and study teams to provide participant support, address concerns, and implement engagement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support design and execution of patient recruitment, collaborating with study teams to identify the target population and support outreach strategies across the trials.
- Develop and implement study plans for recruitment and retention.
- Build and maintain relationships with sites, CROs, and vendors that support trial recruitment and retention efforts.
- Extend the company connection to advocacy groups and other organizations that support recruitment and retention in clinical trials.
- Conduct market research to understand patient needs and barriers to participation in clinical trials and use this information to plan adequate recruitment/retention strategies.
- Create Site and Participant facing documents/materials that define direction and support of recruitment and/or retention.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the clinical trial process and the ability to develop and implement successful recruitment and retention strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in understanding trial metrics, analyzing trends and adjusting to meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Capable of managing multiple timelines while working with cross-functional groups.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
