About the Role
MotherDuck is reimagining cloud-based data analytics with a developer-first experience powered by DuckDB. We are seeking an Account Executive to drive new revenue and shape our sales motion. This role requires someone who can authentically connect with technical buyers, understand their challenges, and communicate how MotherDuck solves them.
Responsibilities
- Drive new revenue by prospecting, engaging, and closing new business across inbound and outbound opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract.
- Understand customer challenges and communicate how MotherDuck solves them.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success.
- Contribute to refining sales strategies, positioning, and processes.
- Build long-term partnerships and help customers maximize data value.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SaaS sales, ideally within the data analytics, database, or developer tooling space.
- Strong product and technical curiosity.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Drive and resilience to push through setbacks and stay focused on goals.
- Coach-ability and self-awareness, with a willingness to seek and act on feedback.
