About the Role
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is seeking a Co-op Student for an eight-month term to support the Regulatory Accounting team. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience complementing academic studies in accounting, economics, or business.
Responsibilities
- Support accountants with regulatory accounting tasks.
- Provide general support for other OEB initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Completion of at least one academic year in an accounting, economics, or business program.
- Enrollment in a co-op program at a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Demonstrated coursework in Macroeconomics is an asset.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and compile data.
- Skill in creating data visualizations (e.g., graphs, charts) to explain findings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
