About the Role
Harris Beach Murtha is seeking Class of 2028 law students to participate in our 10-week summer program in our Rochester, NY office. Summer associates will engage in writing and research assignments across various litigation and transactional practice areas, supported by dedicated partner and associate mentors.
Responsibilities
- Work on writing and research assignments with a variety of practice areas, both litigation and transactional law.
- Receive guidance, feedback, and support from a partner and associate mentor.
- Navigate firm culture and identify opportunities for professional and social engagement.
Requirements
- Class of 2028 J.D. student enrolled at an ABA accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials; Top 25% of their law school class preferred.
- Law journal, review and/or moot court experience preferred.
- Interest in starting their legal career in Rochester, NY.
