About the Role

Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries like food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the physical world with precision, enhancing reliability, scalability, and productivity. This role requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft real estate and commercial contracts and documents.
  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel, focusing on real estate and commercial matters.
  • Structure, negotiate, and draft documents for restaurant partnerships, real estate leasing, acquisition, disposition, and procurement.
  • Collaborate with the business to create policies, processes, and best practices for commercial and real estate deals.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts with enterprise customers.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining corporate entities in new markets.
  • Find creative and pragmatic legal and regulatory solutions for a rapidly growing global business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various business units.
  • Manage outside counsel work and associated spend efficiently.
  • Support all legal needs for the EMEA business, including commercial, corporate, litigation, employment, real estate, and intellectual property issues.
  • Address diverse legal issues outside of primary expertise with an open mind and willingness to work outside comfort zone.

Requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in a jurisdiction where Atoms does business (UK, US, FR, IT, SP, PT, PL, UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, or Bahrain).
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including real estate sector experience in a law firm and/or in-house role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Commercial contract negotiation experience is required.
  • Real estate expertise is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex legal matters.
  • Ability to present information directly to key business stakeholders professionally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with active ownership and task completion.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and risk.
  • Quick and flexible learner.
  • Experienced in communicating with senior leadership.
  • Ability to connect with, build, and maintain relationships with colleagues at all levels and across geographies.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed, including with global teams in other time zones.
