About the Role
Support day-to-day operations across claims management, reporting, and insurance program administration, primarily focused on the Workers' Compensation program, while also assisting with other claim types.
Responsibilities
- Manage claim intake end-to-end, including FNOL processing, initial review, severity assignment, and escalation identification.
- Monitor and support claims throughout the lifecycle by handling routine follow-ups, identifying aging or high-risk claims, and coordinating with adjusters to ensure timely progression.
- Prepare and support bi-weekly claim reviews, including compiling data, tracking action items, and maintaining TPA performance metrics.
- Build, maintain, and validate dashboards and reports across claims, trends, KPIs, and loss data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends, emerging risks, and recurring root causes, and partner with internal stakeholders to support action planning.
- Track Return-to-Work progression for injured workers, and compliance-related data, including audit support and timely updates across systems.
- Track and support subrogation and recovery efforts, including follow-ups on outstanding items and documentation.
- Assist with insurance program administration, including exposure data collection, renewal support, and submission preparation.
- Review claim files and collaborate with TPAs on reserve adequacy and claim strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally to gather required documentation and support efficient claim processing.
- Participate in regular calls with carriers, brokers, and TPAs to support claim oversight and program execution.
- Support additional risk management and claims-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 2–3 years experience with workers' compensation claims, either as a claims adjuster or through direct involvement of an employer's Workers' Compensation program within a risk management function.
- Proactive and self-motivated mindset.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary/Compensations
- $68,040—$81,000 USD (New York)
- $63,000—$75,000 USD (Colorado)
