About the Role

This role supports above-the-line (ATL) media operations for the US Casino Marketing team, contributing to campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting across Linear TV, OTT/CTV, OOH, Direct Mail, and select direct partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day execution, tracking, and optimization across above-the-line media channels (Linear TV, OTT/CTV, OOH, Direct Mail).
  • Direct cross-functional collaboration with Brand Marketing, Analytics & Media Ops on campaign development, strategy, and implementation.
  • Manage relationships between internal stakeholders and external media agencies, ensuring alignment on deliverables and performance metrics.
  • Lead trafficking and QA of campaigns, ensuring accuracy across ad specs, tracking, and targeting parameters.
  • Partner with Brand team to align messaging and creative assets with campaign strategy and performance goals.
  • Develop comprehensive media plans to meet KPIs across multiple tactics, establishing benchmarks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor pacing and performance against KPIs and make strategic recommendations to optimize channel and campaign performance.
  • Conduct analysis of performance, competitive (SOV), creative and spend data, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in ATL media management and performance analysis.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, inventory changes, and new ad formats to recommend and implement innovative strategies.
  • Manage and oversee campaign and channel budgets, including weekly and monthly pacing, forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile monthly spend, invoices, and associated data fees.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecast inputs and ensure spend accuracy across platforms.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support budget allocation decisions.
  • Manage and evaluate agencies and external partner relationships, identifying and vetting new media opportunities to achieve FanDuel's objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects, maintaining open communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Influence and guide team members toward strategic goals, fostering collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or another relevant field with strong academic record.
  • 3+ years of managing above-the-line channels (Linear TV, OTT/CTV, OOH, Direct Mail).
  • Client-facing marketing experience; agency background preferred.
  • Experience working with performance marketing and media metrics with understanding the utilization and relationship between them.
  • Analytically driven with strong understanding of underlying data and methodologies used to inform decision making and drive performance management.
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • A self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and drive to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the business/culture of sports and gaming preferred.
  • Excel & PowerPoint skills required.
