About the Role

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an experienced Power Generation Field Service Technician. This role offers a rewarding work environment, excellent pay and benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled diagnosis, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
• Commit to safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain open communication with management regarding job status, updates, and changes.
• Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets.
• Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.
• Order replacement parts and services efficiently.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to engines, generators, or components.
• Perform startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches.

Requirements

• Years of previous experience as a technician.
• Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required.
• Frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections.
• Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential.
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• May work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
