About the Role

Mia Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team. This role involves product engineering, integrations, and direct customer problem-solving, focusing on building and maintaining systems that connect Mia with dealership platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features across the platform, including integration work and internal tooling.
• Own production changes end-to-end, from Jira scoping to production verification.
• Respond to production alerts and incidents on Azure-based infrastructure, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes.
• Support dealer onboarding and launches, including hot fixes, data setup, and configuration validation.
• Partner with client-facing teams as an escalation point and assist with technical conversations.
• Represent engineering with customers through occasional on-site visits and presentations.
• Improve team processes, change management, and tooling to prevent errors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Significant backend and SQL/relational database work.
• Experience building and supporting third-party API integrations, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Comfort operating in production, including on-call response, change management, and work verification.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• A bias toward ownership and seeing issues through to resolution.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer visits.
