About the Role
As an Assistant Head Coach, you will cooperate with the Head Coach to create a unique shopping experience and deliver service excellence. You will coordinate, support, and supervise a diverse team, ensuring an excellent work atmosphere through recruitment, development, performance management, and staffing. You will implement operational excellence processes and tools to reach sales targets, optimize services, improve consumer satisfaction, and increase efficiency and productivity. You will oversee various departments, support the Head Coach in implementing NIKE’s strategy, provide reports on store activities, and ensure compliance with NIKE standards.
Responsibilities
- Cooperate with the Head Coach to create a unique shopping experience and deliver service excellence.
- Coordinate, support, and supervise a diverse team, ensuring an excellent work atmosphere.
- Implement operational excellence processes and tools to reach sales targets, optimize services, and improve consumer satisfaction.
- Oversee various departments such as Commercial, Athlete and/or Consumer Experience.
- Support Head Coach in implementing NIKE’s strategy in your store.
- Provide reports about store activities, local marketplace and consumer insights.
- Ensure that the store complies with all NIKE standards and guidelines.
- Cooperate with business partners across stores and HQ.
Requirements
- A passion for NIKE and/or love of sport.
- Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions.
- Very good command of English language (written and spoken).
- Experience and competency in serving exceptional consumer service.
- Ability to coach and develop a strong team.
- Strong focus on communication.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends.
- Extensive retail experience including experience in management.
- Enthusiasm and passion about sports and / or sports fashion.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
