About the Role
The Senior Manager, Supply Finance & Analytics leads financial performance, analytics, governance, and value creation for Sodexo Canada's Supply Chain and Procurement functions. This role is key to maximizing vendor funding, improving spend compliance, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and providing insights for margin expansion and working capital improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leads the Supply Finance function, establishing robust processes and controls for supply accruals, vendor funding, rebate receivables, vendor data integration, and financial reporting.
- Oversees financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for supply-related activities, including vendor programs, procurement initiatives, logistics costs, and COGS elements.
- Partners closely with Procurement, Commercial Finance, and BP&A teams to maximize Vendor Discount Agreement (VDA) performance and optimize vendor funding recovery.
- Monitors supply-related financial performance against budget and forecast, providing proactive analysis and recommendations.
- Partners with Procurement and Supply leadership to evaluate sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
- Leads monthly and quarterly business reviews for Supply Finance, providing performance insights and recommendations.
- Supports annual operating plan and forecast cycles by developing supply-related assumptions.
- Leads the development and execution of the Supply Finance analytics strategy, delivering actionable insights.
- Establishes key performance indicators, monitors trends and variances, and translates complex data into clear recommendations.
- Owns the design, development, and continuous enhancement of Supply Finance reporting and dashboard capabilities, including Power BI solutions.
- Develops and maintains executive-level reporting on vendor funding, spend compliance, and procurement savings.
- Identifies financial trends and operational inefficiencies through advanced analytics.
- Collaborates with Finance, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data accessibility and reporting consistency.
- Leverages automation, AI-enabled analytics, and visualization tools to streamline reporting processes.
- Establishes governance over Supply Finance reporting to ensure consistent definitions and performance measures.
- Leads forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning processes for supply-related expenditures and vendor funding.
- Establishes and maintains standardized accrual methodologies, monthly review processes, and variance analysis protocols.
- Develops forecasting models and analytical tools for supply costs, rebate earnings, and vendor funding performance.
- Leads monthly financial reviews of accrual balances, identifying root causes of variances.
- Partners with Controllership to ensure supply-related accounting treatment and accrual practices comply with standards.
- Supports financial risk assessments related to procurement and supply chain initiatives.
- Provides decision support and scenario analysis for strategic supply initiatives.
- Owns the governance, collection, and recovery of vendor funding receivables, rebates, and other supplier-related recoveries.
- Establishes vendor data standards, controls, and performance management processes.
- Leads regular reviews of vendor receivable balances, identifying collection risks.
- Partners with Procurement, Legal, and vendor partners to resolve contractual disputes and funding recovery issues.
- Monitors vendor compliance with reporting and contractual obligations.
- Establishes processes and controls that improve the accuracy and integrity of vendor-related financial data.
- Supports internal and external audit requirements related to vendor funding programs.
- Serves as the primary finance business partner to Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial Finance, and BP&A leadership teams.
- Leads and develops a high-performing Supply Finance team by fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establishes clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.
- Coaches and mentors team members in financial analysis and business partnering.
- Promotes a culture of ownership and fact-based decision making.
- Builds strong cross-functional relationships and influences stakeholders.
- Contributes to broader Finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements
- Post secondary Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in analytics, business intelligence, AI-enabled finance, data management, and financial leadership.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in Supply Finance, Procurement Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor funding programs, rebate recovery processes, working capital initiatives, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial leaders to drive financial performance and business outcomes.
- Experience leading financial transformation, reporting automation, Power BI development, or analytics initiatives preferred.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-site, matrixed organization preferred.
- Experience managing a team or project leadership with cross-functional exposure.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect operational activity to financial outcomes.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive accountability without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform the role in English is required.
