About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team working on the Sizewell C project. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of legal matters relating to the development, construction, and operation of the Sizewell C nuclear power plant. You will provide essential legal support, ensuring the project is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential legal support, ensuring the project is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Support contract processes.
• Conduct legal research.
• Perform document review.
• Assist with due diligence.
• Manage governance administration.
• Support data room activities.
• Engage in legal operations activities.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in law such as LLB, GDL, SQE preparation route, LPC, BPTC/BPC or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally within the construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience supporting contract processes, legal research, document review, due diligence, governance administration, data rooms or legal operations activity.
• Strong organisation, administrative and analytical skills with the ability to convey results in a clear and concise way.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Previous experience in developing relationships with stakeholders and delivering high quality work on time.
• Acts in a professional manner with a positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude.
• Must meet the criteria for Security Vetting.
• Ordinarily, must have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years for Security Vetting.

Benefits

• 28 days annual leave per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.

About the Company

• Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
