About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team working on the Sizewell C project. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of legal matters relating to the development, construction, and operation of the Sizewell C nuclear power plant. You will provide essential legal support, ensuring the project is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in a variety of legal matters relating to the development, construction, and operation of the Sizewell C nuclear power plant.
- Provide essential legal support, ensuring the project is compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Support contract processes.
- Conduct legal research.
- Perform document review.
- Assist with due diligence.
- Manage governance administration.
- Support data room activities.
- Engage in legal operations activities.
Requirements
- Strong academic background in law such as LLB, GDL, SQE preparation route, LPC, BPTC/BPC or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally within the construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience supporting contract processes, legal research, document review, due diligence, governance administration, data rooms or legal operations activity.
- Strong organisation, administrative and analytical skills with the ability to convey results in a clear and concise way.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Previous experience in developing relationships with stakeholders and delivering high quality work on time.
- Acts in a professional manner with a positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must meet the criteria for Security Vetting.
- Ordinarily, must have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years for Security Vetting.

Benefits
- 28 days annual leave per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.

About the Company
- Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
- The Company is maturing to meet all requirements for the development and construction of Sizewell C on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.
