About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team in Chessington. This role involves supporting the Nursery Manager in leading the team, ensuring high-quality care and education, and promoting the nursery's growth and occupancy. Bring your energy, ideas, and EYFS expertise to create a magical environment for children, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.
- Engage actively with children’s learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas — from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
- Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.
Requirements
- Must possess a full and relevant qualification or experience within the childcare sector.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
- Candidates who do not have the relevant experience cannot be considered.
