About the Role

Make a difference by helping students take their next step into the world of work. We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Industrial Placement & Supported Internship Officer to join our Further Education team. In this rewarding role, you will support students to develop the employability skills, confidence and workplace experience needed to progress into employment, apprenticeships or further study. You will source, coordinate and monitor high-quality industrial placements and supported internships, building strong partnerships with employers to create meaningful opportunities for learners. Working closely with curriculum teams, employers and students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), you will provide personalised support, deliver employability activities, and monitor learner progress to ensure successful outcomes. The successful candidate will ensure all placements comply with safeguarding, health and safety, awarding body and College requirements while promoting an outstanding experience for both students and employers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving learners' career prospects and developing strong employer relationships within the FE sector.

Responsibilities

  • Source, coordinate and monitor high-quality industrial placements and supported internships.
