About the Role
CLS is seeking a Senior Associate, HR Shared Services to administer payroll processes, support HR functions, and ensure accurate HR data management within the global HR System (UKG Pro). This role is crucial for maintaining efficient HR operations and providing excellent employee support across various global locations.
Responsibilities
- Administer full cycle semi-monthly US payroll process with external providers.
- Administer fully cycle monthly UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, and Switzerland payroll processes with external providers.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and year-end procedures in all locations.
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger and payroll accounts.
- Support open enrollment in the US and benefits annual enrollment in the UK.
- Support internal/external payroll audits.
- Provide world-class candidate care through the onboarding process, liaising with candidates, managers, and Talent Acquisition.
- Proactively maintain and administer accurate and timely HR data via the global HR System (UKG Pro).
- Administer all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding and offboarding.
- Provide administration support for HR colleagues including HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, Reward, Global Mobility, and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Process purchase orders and invoices in collaboration with finance colleagues.
- Partner with other areas of HR and CLS to provide necessary information for HR Processes and wider HR Projects.
- Liaise with employees to resolve queries related to HR procedures, processes, policies, payroll, and benefits.
Requirements
- Experience in US payroll (required) and UK (optional).
- Knowledge and experience of payroll and benefits processing.
- Knowledge of applicable US local, state, and federal rules and laws is an advantage.
- Customer Services Experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in data input and validation.
- High level professionalism and respect for confidential information.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent Excel and Word skills.
- High ethical standards, ability to work with discretion, and maintain the highly confidential nature of all human resources work.
- Teamwork.
- Experience with UKG, Greenhouse ATS and/or Activ.
- Payroll certification would be an advantage.
