About the Role
This role will oversee the Housing Management and Tenancy Fraud functions for Lewisham Council residents, alongside clienting the two Tenant Management Organisations. The post holder will ensure policies and procedures are up to date and deputise for the Head of Housing and Communities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Housing Management and Tenancy Fraud functions
- Client the two Tenant Management Organisations
- Work closely with other teams, departments and external organisations to ensure regulatory and statutory responsibilities are met
- Produce good quality reports and management information
- Ensure full responses to complaints
- Ensure policies and procedures are up to date
- Deputise for the Head of Housing and Communities
- Liaise and support service-based content editors
- Ensure webpages are accurate, kept up to date and serve residents well
Requirements
- Significant experience in managing a front line housing management service
- Passion for delivering excellent customer care and putting residents at the heart of the service
- Ability to build relationships and work across teams and organisations to deliver outcomes
- Eye for accuracy and ability to ensure quality and consistency of published digital content within the Council’s content management system
- Keen to get involved in content creation, including directing messaging, editorial and tone of voice
- Great people skills
- Experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people
- Work flexibility and attend ad-hoc meetings in evenings or weekends, as required
- Must complete the application fully
- Supporting statement must cover how each person specification criterion is met
