About the Role
As an Insurance Lead at Johnson Matthey, a world leader in platinum group metals, you will help drive our goals by leading and managing the global insurance programme, delivering the insurance strategy, and acting as the main point of contact for global insurance matters. You will oversee claims management, coordinate insurance data, and collaborate with Risk and Resilience teams to optimize coverage.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing Johnson Matthey’s global insurance programme, including renewals, procurement and policy oversight
- Delivering the insurance strategy aligned to the organisation’s risk profile and business priorities
- Acting as the main point of contact for global insurance matters, building strong relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing claims management processes, ensuring effective handling, governance and compliance
- Coordinating insurance data, cost allocation, documentation and reporting to support business decision-making
- Collaborating with Risk and Resilience teams to assess exposures and optimise insurance coverage across the organisation
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience managing global insurance programmes within a complex organisation
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across functions
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and their alignment with risk and resilience strategies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities
- Ability to analyse information, provide practical recommendations and drive implementation
