About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the face of U-Haul, providing exceptional service to customers while inspecting and maintaining equipment and utilizing modern technology to manage rentals.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services
- Manage rentals and inventory using smartphone-based U-Scan technology
- Move and hook up trucks and trailers
- Clean and inspect equipment including checking fluid levels
- Educate customers on products and services
- Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns
- Install hitches and trailer wiring
- Fill propane
- Operate a forklift
- Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to maintain a good driving record
- Ability to work around moving parts, machines, or chemicals
- Ability to use protective clothing or gear
- Ability to remain stationary or move around for long periods
- Ability to move equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
- Must not use nicotine products in specified states
