About the Role
Clipwire Games is seeking a Creative Strategy Manager to lead user acquisition creative efforts, directing a team of motion designers to produce high-performing ad creative. This role requires a hands-on creative leader passionate about mobile games and free-to-play experiences, who excels at the intersection of craft and performance. You will set creative direction, collaborate with UA and data science teams, and leverage AI tools to enhance creative output.
Responsibilities
- Direct a team of motion designers, specifying creative direction, reviewing deliverables, synthesizing feedback, and managing delivery.
- Own the creative direction and output of UA creative, including video ads, playables, and statics across various channels.
- Set creative strategy based on competitor analysis, performance data, market trends, and audience understanding.
- Champion AI-assisted creative tools and integrate them into the pipeline to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Build and manage a high-velocity creative pipeline for rapid production, testing, and iteration.
- Define and execute a structured creative testing program, including hypothesis formation, variant shipping, results analysis, and learning integration.
- Partner with UA and data science teams to link creative performance to spend efficiency, ROAS, and LTV.
- Research and benchmark competitor creative and market trends to inform actionable creative direction.
- Establish creative operations, including briefs, asset specifications, version control, and vendor/freelancer management.
Requirements
- 6+ years in performance/UA creative or motion design, with experience leading or managing a creative team.
- Proven track record of shipping successful, growth-oriented ad creative for mobile or free-to-play games.
- Strong creative judgment with a performance mindset, capable of demonstrating data-backed understanding of install drivers.
- Hands-on command of channel-specific creative norms and multi-network asset diversity.
- Comfortable interpreting UA data and KPIs (CTR, CPI, ROAS, LTV) to guide creative decisions.
- Experience researching competitor creative and translating market insights into strategic direction.
- Process-driven approach with the ability to create efficient and optimized processes for ideation, development, and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools and a clear point of view on their integration into production.
- Familiarity with casual and social-casino player audiences is a strong asset.
