About the Role
The Administrative Assistant supports AIM's maintenance department, including purchasing and receiving. This role helps triage building and operational needs and provides ongoing support to the Executive Admin team for the success of planned outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organized logs of inventory, invoices, receivables, shipping trackers, etc. using Microsoft applications.
- Provide welcoming, friendly, supportive customer service.
- Support all agency communications, including phone, email, fax, and inter-office mail.
- Accept agency deliveries.
- Schedule meetings.
- Follow all safety regulations as outlined in AIM policies and procedures.
- Respect and support the self-directed decisions and goals of agency consumers.
- Support the agency's marketing efforts.
- Maintain high attention to confidentiality.
- Assist people with disabilities and their families by referring them to other AIM programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma with at least five years of customer service experience.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of systems, organizations, and community-based resources that serve people with disabilities.
- Must be highly organized in fast-paced environments.
- Dependable vehicle and acceptable driving record.
- Work is typically performed indoors and requires lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
