About the Role
Support the Business Operations Manager and team with all business operations in stores and CSO, consistently delivering excellent service and standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations across the Retail estate.
- Act as a key communication point to the Retail estate.
- Organize opening or closure roll-out plans.
- Support successful CSO operations.
- Organize Seasonal Showcase events.
- Build sound working relationships with stores and concessions for seamless support.
- Create constructive relationships with host store and centre/village operation teams.
- Manage all maintenance issues in stores, ensuring effective out-of-hours service and competitive costs.
- Proactively manage Health and Safety issues and compliance in stores and CSO.
- Coordinate and manage all store risk assessments.
- Serve as the first point of contact for store/CSO inquiries, ensuring prompt responses.
- Act as a guardian of communication to stores and CSO, ensuring all business communication for stores goes via Retail Operations and for CSO via Business Operations.
- Ensure all communication is clear, correct, and sent within specified timescales and formats.
- Update relevant areas on Microsoft Teams for stores.
- Create concepts and designs for Retail projects, including incentives and reward/recognition schemes.
- Support stores with security and compliance.
- Support store openings and closures.
- Manage the Retail Operations section on Microsoft Teams.
- Support the department and wider departments with ad hoc projects, administration, or meeting organization.
- Maintain CSO office standards through weekly floor walks and communication.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and couriers.
- Perform reception duties and support front-of-house duties.
- Manage CSO facilities.
- Assist with CSO maintenance.
- Ensure successful operations across the Retail estate, including events, project roll-out, store maintenance, security, and compliance.
- Ensure successful operations across CSO, including facilities management, office maintenance, reception duties, health and safety, and postal duties.
- Build key relationships across CSO and Retail teams.
Requirements
- Understanding the needs of a retail business.
- Cost control (budget awareness).
- Customer service experience.
- Background in retail.
- Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook proficiency.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving capability.
- Demonstrates creative thinking.
- Facilities Operations experience.
- Competent/experienced in Health and Safety practices.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
