About the Role
As a Customer Service Attendant, you will serve as the face of the organization, delivering exceptional experiences to passengers on regional journeys. You will manage station operations, ensure safety standards, and provide support to passengers, contributing to the connectivity of regional and metropolitan communities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and streamline passenger experiences
- Assist passengers with inquiries and luggage
- Manage day-to-day station operations
- Maintain station presentation, cleaning, and general maintenance
- Collaborate with train crew and stakeholders to ensure safety standards
- Identify and manage potential safety risks for staff and passengers
Requirements
- Experience working face-to-face with customers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- Willingness to work additional hours at short notice
- Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol, and criminal record checks
